4:19 a.m. A caller from Regents College requested to speak to an officer about being assaulted. An officer took a report for 4th degree assault.
9:25 a.m. A caller reported a squirrel inside Racer Arena. Facilities Management was notified.
11:44 a.m. A caller from Price Doyle Fine Arts Center requested officers check an individual who seemed out of place. An officer spoke with the individual and took an information report.
March 5
7:31 a.m. A fire alarm was received from Hart College. Officers and Murray fire department responded and found a pull station had been activated. There was no smoke or fire found. The state fire marshal was also notified.
11:03 a.m. A caller from the 1200 block of College Courts requested an officer check the welfare of a child in an apartment. The officer spoke with the apartment’s occupants and determined the child was OK.
11:06 p.m. A caller from James Richmond college reported being stuck in the elevator. Officers and Central Plant responded. The individual was off the elevator on officer arrival.
March 6
2:46 p.m. A caller from Hester College reported both elevators stuck on the first floor. Central Plant was notified.
4:23 p.m. An officer at the Murray Christian Fellowship house gave a verbal warning to an individual for disregarding a stop sign and failure to wear eye protection.
8:03 p.m. A caller from College Circle reported being locked out of a vehicle. An officer opened the vehicle.
March 7
10:22 a.m. A caller from the RSEC requested assistance moving a vehicle due to busses needing to park. The owner was contacted but did not have the keys. A tow truck moved the vehicle to a different parking lot.
3:31 p.m. A caller from James Richmond College reported an unoccupied elevator stuck near the first floor.
4:56 p.m. Murray police notified Public Safety of a medical emergency at the RSEC. The individual refused transport by ambulance. An officer took an information report.
March 8
8 a.m. A caller from Ordway Hall requested to speak to an officer concerning unauthorized use of a credit card. An officer took a report for fraudulent use of a credit card.
10:01 a.m. An officer from Elizabeth College requested Facilities Management clean chalk on the amphitheater.
11:48 a.m. Police at the Biology Building arrested Noel Taylor, nonstudent from Dover, Tenn., for theft by unlawful taking under $500 and theft by unlawful taking over $500 after observing him take items from vehicles in the lot.
March 9
1:41 a.m. Two callers from Elizabeth College requested an officer speak to an individual about making loud noise in the amphitheater. An officer spoke with the individual who agreed to stop making noise.
5:43 p.m. A caller from Stewart Stadium requested to speak to an officer concerning trash being placed in his vehicle. An officer took an information report.
8:43 p.m. A caller from Springer College requested to speak to an officer about possible harassment. An officer spoke with the individual and took an information report.
10:22 p.m. A caller from White College requested to speak to an officer about a possible threat. An officer took a report for harassing communications.
March 10
12:50 p.m. A caller from Springer College requested to speak to an officer about possible harassing communications. An officer took an information report.
5:33 p.m. Facilities Management notifed Public Safety they would be conducting bird eradication. Officers and Murray police were notified.
8:04 p.m. A caller from Carr Health requested officers check an individual who was pushing a chair around outside. An officer located and recovered the chair, which was Murray State property. The individual was gone on officer arrival.
