Public Safety investigates stolen, vandalized vehicles

Aron Huckaba walked out to his mo-ped one day in August to find the ignition missing. The next day it was moved, and the day after that, the mo-ped was gone. "I called the cops about the ignition and we decided it might be a prank," Huckaba, sophomore from Paris, Tenn.

Murray-based soldiers return home after year away

The crowed gathered at the Calloway County High School football field Sunday waited for a year. Bundled up in coats, scarves and gloves, the families and friends stood together, in the cold, waiting. Organizations partner to continue campus recycling

Enrollment numbers on track for 12x12 initiative

Murray State Alliance will perform live homosexual acts in the free speech zone today from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., but don't let your mind wander too far. In an effort to increase awareness about the regular lifestyles of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender members of the Murray State community, Alliance will display "Live Homosexual Acts" such as reading, studying, eating lunch and playing games, Anthony Jones, president of Alliance, said.

Students schedule using Racer-Touch for last semester

Both excitement and concerns are building among Murray State students as the transition from scheduling classes via Racer-Touch to an online program draws near. Administrators will implement the program, called myGate, next semester in time for students to schedule for fall 2009, according to the Murray State Registrar's Office.
