The Racers lift their tournament trophy after winning the conference Saturday.

For the first time in school history, the women's basketball team will compete in the NCAA tournament.
Saturday, the Racers clinched the Ohio Valley Conference title by defeating the Eastern Illinois Panthers, 69-58. After finishing the regular season with a 21-7 record, the Racers went into the conference tournament as the No. 3 seed, but ultimately came out as the team on top after defeating Morehead State in the first round, Samford in the semifinal round and finally Eastern.
The team's first-round NCAA opponent will be selected Monday.
