Task force looks to improve website

    In response to student and faculty and staff complaints from across campus, a website task force has been assembled by Provost Bonnie Higginson.     Murray State’s new website was launched in March and quickly met criticism from users.     Higginson said the taskforce first met Aug. 19 and was formed approximately one week before.     The taskforce is headed by Adam Murray, dean of University Libraries, and is composed of seven other faculty members with advanced technical knowledge. What if everyone else is better than me? Do I belong here?     Classes would soon be starting at Murray State but Krueger, senior from Campbell Hall, N.Y., would not be sitting at a desk.     When Joe Smith was a teenager, he attended his first Racer basketball game inside Racer Arena. Years later, Smith, 54, attends every men’s basketball and football game at home and on the road, but not as a fan. Smith is, what some might call, a celebrity. Smith is the Voice of the Racers, more commonly known by his on-air persona Neal Bradley. Full story
